So far in 2014

We have been sledding

We have been snow shoeing, and Foster rode along in the sled. The first time he laid down flat while I trucked around in the snow for an hour for exercise, he fell asleep after about 20 minutes, but every time I stopped he would wake up so I kept moving so he would at least get somewhat of a nap in
The next time Brennen went snowmobiling so we went up Smithfield canyon with 3 dogs, Bay, and Grandma and Grandpa. This time we had a much better sled, and I was much better off because grandpa was there to pull Foster up the mountain. Once again it was a success, he loved it.

We have been sick ;( Cold's, the flu, I don't know it just wasn't fun. Foster fell asleep just lying on the floor, which is a sure sign of not feeling well because he has never done that, ever.

He is climbing on everything, he is getting very creative and very clever.

His hair needs help, but I don't want to cut it.

He is loving more and more to read, I caught him thinking he was reading my kindle one day

Brennen and I were both lucky enough to go on short weekend trips with friends. Brennen went golfing in St George. While Foster and I were home sick. Then a few weeks later I got to go to Cali. It was beautiful, only thing missing was my Fam. Although I enjoyed so me time with friends.

We have busted the stroller out for a few runs as it has warmed up these last couple of weeks, and yes he still loves it, he still falls asleep in it, and he is definitely put on a few pounds since the fall. I am so not in shape, the treadmill just doesn't cut it.

Still loves balls, and still loves putting everything in his mouth. We went to Walmart, I was in the electronics section, he spotted the basketballs in the sporting section and almost jumped out of my arms, he screamed- yeah embarrassing- I gave in and we went over there.  He ran back and forth from ball to ball. His excitement was awesome and I hope he remembers how much he loves them when we have him shooting 100 free throws, or hitting 100 baseballs or golf balls. Really it put a smile on my face to see him so happy until it was time to leave that was a whole different story.
He has started to smile for the camera, we were trying to take a picture to send to Whitli of his cute outfit and we told him to smile and we got some pretty good ones.

This kid gets better moves everyday and he still LOVES to Dance.

HE LOVES to be outside and while champ doesn't enjoy the game of fetch with Foster near as much as Foster does, he plays along.

Foster had his first experience at the jump zone, and he loved to people watch, and of course the balls. He just wanted to hang out in the dodge ball section where balls were flying mach 90 in every direction. Bayli, Abigail and Brennen kept him safe though.

He is starting to get some range with his shooting, don't mind the whining he was getting sick of it and I wanted a video of it.

I wish I had a video of Foster's jabbering, maybe the next post, but he has full on conversations. He is getting better at mimicking and repeating. Still has a ways to go, Hazel can already say Fosters name so  we are working on the cousins names.

We had a great Valentines holiday........................
and of course I was lucky enough to have two valentines this year.

I was trying to get him to hold the heart and look and me, but he just kept wanting to put it on the wall, so this was it.

We gave Foster his first Glove for Valentines day. He is so not a fan of wearing it,he likes to have us catch the ball with it, but we can't get him to leave it on. I think Brennen was a bit disappointed but I reassured him that it was way to early to tell if he would like it or not. He loves to hit with his bat, not just the baseball, tables, picture frames, me. So there is still hope.

We don't spend much money on each other and I hate getting flowers on this day so we both tried to be a little more creative this year. I got a text every day for 5 days leading up to Valentines with cute little messages. He will probably kill me for including them but I want to have them in my journal, since this is it, here they are:

L is for laughing. The thing that I enjoy the most with you.

O is for one. You are the one. The one that makes me feel loved. The one that I share this journey with. The one I get to raise children with. The one I will love forever and ever.

V is for vital. You are a vital part in my life that keeps me going. Without you I don't know where I would be.

E is for everything. You are my everything. My sweetheart, my wife, mother of my kid, and my soul mate. Love you more and more each day

Love is what I have for you
especially for all that you do
You make me smile
and scowl every once in a while
I love to see you happy
And try my best to be
But all I want this valentines day
is for your love for all eternity.

Yep not bad for a man, right. I had a few surprises for him, nothing up to this, but all in all we enjoyed spending time with loved ones. Grandma Beth and Bayli included.

We finally after roughly a year and a half finished our bathroom downstairs, the rest is almost complete we just need carpet so we are saving our pennies to pay for that. For now here is the finished product of the bathroom. I wish I had before and afters, especially of the dressed I used for the vanity. I bought it at the DI for 50$, it was bright pink and white, I know my dad and Brennen were very skeptical, but it turned out great. They should not have doubted right???
Don't mind foster unrolling the TP, again, you would think at some point he would not think that it was fun;)
Special thanks to Brock and Brian for helping us out with the shower and counter;) and of course my Dad aka the plumber, the electrician the framer and the painter.
This is the closet that is in the bathroom, our little old house lacks closet space so we stuck one in the bathroom, practical I know, ha ha.
So far 2014 has been good to us, and I am staying up on my resolutions, I even read my book in January and am on track for Feb.
