Long Time Coming

Well it been roughly 12 years since our last family portrait. Sad, I know, we just have not been able to coordinate schedules. But I finally demanded, and it happened. Despite Chanse not getting a haircut and his tan-line on his legs they turned out great. Especially since there were 4 children involved and two being babies. Of course Cortni's kids were great and Foster was not much for the camera;) but at least he is looking.

Foster 8 months

And then there were two.......................................................................................

TEETH!!!
If you look closely you can see them, his right central incisor poked through on 7-11-13 and his left a week later on 7-18-13. He was definitely not comfortable for a few days, we just gave his some medicine 2 nights, and he slept better than he ever has. Seems how he is still waking up in the wee hours it makes me want to give him some ibuprofen nightly. But don't worry I won't :)
Foster still loves food, loves milk, and loves to be played with. He can't be in a room all by himself. He is quick with his now perfected bear crawl and is pretty good at standing up with no support. He is progressing way to quickly in that department for me, but Brennen encourages him daily to walk ;(. He loves the water, but does not like to be hot (he is a sweater).

He still pulls the funniest faces, he doesn't scream much just wimpers alot, says mamama alot, and still has a big head.

He is a natural behind the wheel and loves it. This little bus entertained him at Fiesta Fun for quite some time.

Brennen is trying real hard to turn this kid into a baseball player already, with his newly purchased flat brim hat he is ready to go.

He has been teaching him to throw, catch and hit the ball, he actually throws it pretty well, and of course he had to have his flat brim hat. He loves any kind of ball, all you have to say is where is your ball and he goes looking. He picked up on it real fast but I think it was because he got so much attention and it requires someone to be on the other end to pass it back.

He is very mischievous, he loves to empty the fridge, dishwasher, pans and the toilet paper roll is his favorite.

He loves to sleep in the weirdest positions and does not stay in one for long, he is all over his bed.
We had some pics taken but it was when he was teething so we didn't get any grins, but they still turned out pretty darn cute.

......Summertime....

July flew by, with lots of milestones and fun times.

First Stop was Tony Grove Lake.

Brennen, Mom, Dad and I ran (or should I say speed hiked) from Smithfield to the Lake. Cort, Whit, Bay, Grandma Skid and the kids met us there with the grill and the paddle boards. We had a barbecue and just hung out. It was fun and Presley and Tucker loved the paddle boards.

Next stop.. Pool party in the back yard.

We took a family bike ride up Smithfield canyon and put the two babies in the bike trailer, we were worried about them being in such a close proximity since they like to grab each others faces, but they did great and both were zonked out. It's hard to see but Hazel was sleeping on Foster's shoulder.

Last stop was our week in St. George.
Get ready for picture overload
Brennen golfed every morning
We boated two days
Ran, Road Bikes
Ate good food
Tried out a cool new park with a carousel and splash pad
Fiesta Fun
Shopped
Movies
and of course swam

This St. George trip was #28 for me, we have been going for 29 years now and I have only missed one. Next year marks the big 30 so hopefully we will have everyone there.
