What Fosters Doing Now

This kid is 7 months and mobile and I fear will be walking all too soon. He crawls like a maniac, and bear crawls on grass and hardwood because he doesn't like his knees to touch. He is starting to jabber more and his best sound so far has been ma ma ma ma, pretty sure he has no idea what he is saying but it still makes me feel good. He still loves food, we are having rotten luck trying formula he doesn't drink it, he has this coughing attack and gets a rash around his face, I hope this does not mean he is allergic to something in it. While I love my child I am getting sick of hauling my pump to work:) He had his first boating experience last week and liked it for the most part, besides the life jacket. He was already learning how to hold onto the rope. He stands up to anything and everything. His smile still makes me melt, and he giggles a painful giggle when you tickle him. He still loves the stroller and bike trailer as long as we are moving. Time is flying all too fast.

The Last Two Months

I have been trying to stay caught up with this blogging thing as I am trying to use this as my journal and as you can tell it is going just about as good as my journal keeping has gone my whole life... It's July and we have been busy. Between work, girls camp, Blue Sox baseball, Running, Yard work and Foster, I don't think we have watched a full episode of  a TV show since April (which is just fine since really it is such a waste of time) and our basement remodel has pretty much come to a halt. . We are trying to get a little fun in here and there so here is a little recap and bits and pieces of what we have been up to.

First and foremost we made the trek to Arizona in May to see Ted graduate, but more importantly to see the three most awesome cousins Foster could ask for. We drove and as you could expect I was nervous driving that far with a 6 month old but he did great!!! I could not believe how much he slept, since he never does that at home. We did lots of fun things. The diamondbacks were playing the Braves and It was a must see as the Braves just happen to be Brennen's favorite team. The first game we had tickets on the second row, but Foster and I only lasted about a half inning sitting in because Foster was being rowdy. We ended up sitting up higher where he could people watch, the baseball game just wasn't interesting enough for him.

The next day we went to a day game.Ted and Cortni and Brennen and I and the two babes. They both fell asleep at the same time on each side of me.

Of course we hit the pool up just about every day, Foster enjoyed that and Tucker and Presley are little fish, they love the water. Good thing since temps are into the 120's this summer.

Tucker fell asleep with Foster's blanket and toy so we couldn't resist taking a picture

We rented a house just about 2 miles away from Cort and Ted's, it had the sweetest alarm clock, had to take a pic.

Congrats to Ted, all his hard work paid off.

Presley and Hazel weren't too sure of Ted's cap and gown, actually they were quite petrified so getting a good picture wasn't easy

Hazel is always such a happy little girl, Foster has his moments but this girls always has a smile on her face.

Oh what cuties. We ate lots of good food and had a great time with Family. But it was HOT!

Then we had Birthday week and we had fun celebrating with everyone. Our next big event that I actually took pictures off was Ragnar. We ran as a family with 2 teams this year again. Everyone did great and we had a good time. We even had a team Mascot this year and he was very cute if I say so myself. We were team Jen 2 and we finished 98th of 1350 teams, not bad if I say so myself. Dad, Mom, Bayli, Whitli, Brennen and I were the first van and then the Godderidge cousins from Farmington were van 2.

We ran, and ran and ran and had a great time. So grateful for such an awesome family

Next event on the list for summer was more Running... of course in this family that is how it works.

Foster and I got to cheer on 5 family members in the Logan Peak Run last Saturday. It was 28 miles of over 7,000 feet in elevation gain and loss, It was a pretty run they say, but not easy. We were so proud of all of them.

Dad finished in a stellar 5 hours 12 minutes, notice the dirt everywhere on his shirt, yep he fell twice and just pretty much rolled down the hill. 12th man overall- not bad for 55!!
Brennen finished with Trent at 5 hours and 50 minutes

Mom was just over 6 hours...... the 11th women overall

Way to go!! Maybe I will join you next year--- or I will still be cheering from the sidelines.

Last but not least, we celebrated the 4th of July yesterday in style. We paddle-boarded in a thunderstorm, barbecued and watch fireworks.

Yep, Foster taught Whitli well, that is her birdie finger......

Happy Summer, hopefully there will be lots more fun to come.
