Foster Turns TWO!!!

Foster turned two, and yes it is terrible, my little boy is growing up. But even more terrible is the fact that he really has his terrible moments......................... (keyword-moments)

Like when he won't share his toys, he is constantly saying "Mine"
Like when he is a Bully to his cousins, it never goes unsaid from one of them, "Foster hit me, Foster pushed me" He is learning but geez he is a bully sometimes.
Like when he totally knows he needs to poop and leaves the room to hide instead of going in the toilet.
Like when he screams NO at the top of his lungs

But thank goodness those terrible moments are few and far between when compared to all the wonderful moments

He is talking sooo much better and man does it just melt me when he says, "Love you Mama", He is also really good at saying Thank You when he is given something. Also very good at saying "Done" in the middle of sacrament when a talk, prayer or song ends, he totally thinks it is time to go home and will look at us and say "Done?"

He has made me proud twice by pooping in the potty, but not without major bribery, the kids just doesn't care if he has to sit in his poop.

He has also picked up on singing, and will pretend to sing the hymns at sacrament. He has picked up on the ABC's from a chair my mom gave him that sings them and with all the November birthdays he has got the birthday song down pact and sings it constantly. He even sang it to himself!

He is so forgiving and loves to show people he loves them (well the people he knows anyways). He gives the best hugs, wraps his arms around ya and pats your back with one of his arms. Love it! Also gives plenty of kisses. One morning he woke up and I was awake but pretended to be asleep to see if he would go back to sleep. He went into the living room and kitchen and walked around for a minute, then he climbed up on the bed and laid down next to me, hugged me and fell asleep.

He gets so excited to go to grandpa's house, the barn, or when his cousins come over, I wish I could bottle up his excitement.

He rolls his eyes, yep Whitli taught him well. He will look at you in the corner of his eye and then roll them. It's pretty funny.

He has started showing more interest in stuffed animal and figurines, also he loves to play guns. Still loves to play catch and "shoop" which means shoot hoops. My mom got him a buddy ball for his birthday which is a ball that unzips and turns in to a stuffed bear, I wish we would have been filming the first time we unzipped it to show him what was inside the ball, he jumped like there was a spider coming out of it, it was so funny- had to be there I guess.

He is starting to spend more time doing things, he doesn't get sick of things so easily. He has really enjoyed
Drawing/coloring
playing with play dough
Legos
Trains
Motorcycles
Puzzles

Loves to eat, still, but mostly just wants treats.

Other side notes....................................................

We took the sides of his crib and turned it into a toddler bed. Needless to say he has fallen off ALOT! He is a wild sleeper and just cant quite figure out how to stay on, don't worry we cushion his fall with pillows and half the time he stays asleep. He still takes pretty good naps for me at home as well.
Who needs a stuffed animal when you have a basketball.

Tara had a party for him at daycare with cupcakes, So sweet of her and he loved it.

We were able to have a little party with family since his birthday was on a Saturday. We all hit up the jump zone and then came back for cake/ ice cream/ and of course presents, he was spoiled we shouldn't have even bought him anything because everyone showered him.

Hazel can out climb him anyday, anywhere, as evident from the pic, I blame his short legs and big head throwing him off.

He was thrilled to be the center of attention (just like his dad), he was so cute and couldnt even wait til the birthday song was over before he blew out his candles.

I didn't do to bad on the cake either, just bought a big sheet cake and then made a motorcyle track (in the shape of a 2) and added a start and finish line.

Two year check up- first visit that he did not cry, even was super brave for his flu shot. Proud mommy moment. Still hasn't quite grown into his brains.

Our handsome little man, doesn't love photo shoots but at least a couple of them turned out. Especially since his amateur mother is the photographer.

Halloween- just a month late!

Whenever we ask Foster where his baby sister is he always points to me and says mom and then points to his belly and says mine. One Sunday evening we decided to take a pic of our matching belly's. While mine is much larger, he gave it a full effort and by the last picture he was putting his while body into making the belly even bigger.

Brennen has decided to become a hunter and sent this pic to us from the mountain as he sat and waited for a nice buck to stroll by, which never did happen.
Foster loves his Jazz jersey and of course Brennen had to dress him up for the opening game of the Jazz's season.
I am not big on dressing up or costumes, but Halloween came up on me real quick. So Waldo he was, as we already had the shirt and only had to spend a dollar on the hat and a dollar on the glasses. He was very unsure of the whole process until he realized if he left his glasses and hat on and said treat he would actually get a treat. Even just now as I was adding these pics he came up to the screen and said Treat.

As this was his first time, we practiced trick or treating before we left, Brennen had to put some glasses on so Foster would think it was cool.
Then he knocked, I answered and he said Treat.
Then he grabbed not just one from my Halloween bin, but a couple.

Then he stared at his treats, then he just wanted to eat them.

All in all he enjoyed the evening because he got treats. His cousins helped to make it pretty exciting as they were all dressed up as well.

Foster turns two, tomorrow, #sadface #toofast #wheredidthetimego #stillwontstayinnursery #mommysboy. So this is what him and Brennen did during nursery last week, went outside and took pictures. I will try to do a birthday post soon but as his pics have not been done yet and I am about to have pop it maybe a bit.

We have spent many hours this fall swinging on his swing, he loves to swing and thank goodness we have had a beautiful fall that has allowed us to spend time outside. I only included this pic because his face shows how much he enjoys it, Plus it does show my talent in entertaining champ (throwing him the Frisbee) and pushing foster on the swing even with the big belly.

The Beginnings of Fall

Apologies for the length and amount of photos just didn't want to leave anything out.

Well another 3 months has come and gone
Of course we spent them having fun.
Ted and Cortni and the kids moved home
Its been so nice for Foster to have some cousins come
School started and Bayli started to Cheer
She is very talented and is filling the shoes with no fear
Once again it is a season for races
my parents are amazing, you can see it in there faces
Lotoja was first, 203 miles from Logan to Jackson, on a tandem bike
We drove along as there support crew and even stopped for a little hike
Intermittent Falls was beautiful and we are so glad we stopped
The snake river and trees were gorgeous and don't worry we ate a lot
They pedaled and pedaled, and only got one flat
Together they worked so hard, they are truly amazing at that
After 11 and a half hours they crossed the finish line
Once again finishing leaving nothing behind
As the temperature's cooled down it was time for homecoming
It was fun to see Bayli doing her thing.
She is a very talented person and it was so much fun to see
Her beautiful smile at the parade, the game and even the pep assembly
Then the big night came, her first official dance
She went with Jaden Wood, we heard he tried real hard to romance
She looked gorgeous in her dress and the kids would tell you so,
They were all in awe of her as we took pics before she had to go
Then we had a weekend where we celebrated fall
Razor rides, dance parties, and good food, we were not disappointed at all
It is so much fun for Foster to have his cousins here to hang out with
Even if him and Hazel get in a few little tiffs
Presley loves him dearly and Tucker teaches him how to be a boy
His soccer ball and gun are now his new favorite toy
Then it was the Bear 100 race for my dad
why he does anything like this is completely mad
He suffered from sickness, heat stroke and then pouring rain
As we paced along with him it was hard to see him in pain
We tried to get the old man to quit
But he would barely stop to sit
He just kept moving and had great pacers
He finished as one of the best racers.
We are glad its over for at least another year
he is getting to old to go that far and leave us all in fear
However we are proud of him and all that he does do
He is a prime example of how hard work gets you through
Then a week later we headed to St George for the marathon
Whitli, Mom, Dad and Brennen were ready to run
They all did great and finished the race
Brennen even made his goal and kept his awesome pace
A time of 3 hr and 4 minutes was enough to qualify
for the big race in Boston when spring flies
Whitli didn't even break a sweat
and here time of 3 hr 22 minutes wouldn't agree with that
Mom and dad stuck together once again
and finished at 3 hrs 40 minutes a pace that made us grin.
They aren't getting younger just older by the day
but they battle through there aches and pains and show us the way
They truly are amazing and are leaving a legacy
You don't come by Parents as wonderful as them too often you see
Foster and I were the only cheerleaders this year, and it was really odd
Especially not having Grandma Beth in our little cheer squad
We had some fun while we were there
We swam and shopped and hiked and enjoyed the sunny air
We enjoyed our conference/marathon weekend in St. George once again
It was nice to relax and listen to conference we definitely did gain
As fall is here for sure now, the pumpkins are out
We are trying to enjoy our family cuz that is what its all about
Soon enough we will go from a family of 3 to 4, in 7 weeks in fact
We hope this little girl will feel welcome in our home and Foster won't attack
He is so much fun right now and talking so much better
He is getting smarter and smarter and a real go getter
He loves to play pass with any type of ball or go for a bike ride
and is often found swinging or going down the slide
We finally broke down and cut his luscious locks
he still looks mighty handsome and his new style rocks.
As the holidays approach us we hope you will all remember
To enjoy life, give thanks, and treat everyone with kindness this October and November.

Oh the joys of throwing rocks

High five and knuckles

My Cousin Brooklyn will never let me get a good pic so until she cooperates I will post the ones that she won't cooperate for

My five most favorite people. I had to post both of these, Foster is pulling his cheese face. When we say to him say cheese he really gets into his pronunciation and says cheese.

You should know to never photo bomb Bay!

Oh man we had a hard time getting a good pic, Grandpa was trying to get the kids to look and smile by playing if your happy and you know it, and instead of smiling and holding still, Foster was just copying everything he did.

Foster was so not going for these pics

These two love if your happy and you know it.

Cousins are the best

Creepy owl that landed on a tree right by us while we were up at Tony Grove Lake waiting for Grandpa!

4:45 am just leaving to catch the bus to the start line for the Marathon.
Disclaimer: Because I was the only cheerleader and was trying to keep track of a 2 yr old my pics of the runners kind of took a turn for the worse this year so no judgments

See what I mean.......
This shows you how easy the marathon was for Whitli, after 26 miles she was smiling from ear to ear, most people were struggling to keep moving, she was waving to Foster, hence the over enthusiasim
I finally gave Foster my phone and he was taking pics like me!

Foster modeled for us in his jammies

Before his haircut

I only included this picture to show the bite mark on Fosters cheek, Hazel got the best of him and I am sure he deserved it. You can see all 16 of her teeth in a perfect circle on his cheek.

 Riding his motorbike

Love this little man.
PS we had to sport the Aggie shirt since they beat BYU!!!
