Two weeks ago.. on a Monday night, my mom called and asked us to come up to dinner. I was exhausted from working all day and was just about to put the dinner I made in the oven. I told her I already had it made.. she said just put in in fridge and cook tomorrow. I said I was tired and already in my PJ's but that didn't work either, she just made me feel bad because she had cooked all this extra taco meat. So I gave in and we headed up there in our PJ's.... Brennen was ahead of me and was stalling at the door, I had to practically push him all the way in. There was a reason for his stall-- When I looked in the kitchen Bayli was there holding Hazel. What the.... They CAME- YEAH! After my subtle hints on the blog Ted finally gave in. It was an awesome surprise and a fun week, we wish they could have stayed longer.
LOVE THESE KIDS AND CORTNI and TED!!! Hopefully we will be able to head to AZ to visit sometime soon.

2 Months and Counting....
WOW does time fly!!! Foster is growing like crazy! He had his two month visit last week, Dr said everything is checking out great. He was 11 lbs 6 oz (his cheeks are a third of that I'm sure) and 22 and a half inches long. Roughly he is in the 50 percentile in all areas. He did not enjoy his shots ;( If I wouldn't have had to hold him down I would have taken some pics of his reaction- DRAMA.
We attempted our own photo shoot at 2 months and did pretty good. He is getting so fun and his personality was captured in our shoot!! So here goes....
Thinking about reacting to mom's baby talk
Maybe a little funny.....
OK Mom's Hilarious!!
Again not so sure....
Oh Yep it's funny and I think I will talk back... He pulls this cute face when he is cooing.
In between the few smiles we got some other unique responses...
Yep I have found my face- stop taking pictures of it...
I am the MAN!!!
Interesting....
I think I might spit-up...
He puckers his lips and gets these wide eyes when he has some bubbles in his tummy... usually spit up shortly follows.
Ok mom, enough with the pics.... getting tired
I am seriously done with this photo session I might just flip this camera the bird.
Didn't work:( maybe a little sticking out of the tongue will do the trick- no more pictures
Alright I guess I will have to pull out the ugly face...
here comes the sad face...
It worked- mom gave in after this.

Foster's Blessing
December 30, 2012 was Foster's big day! He was lucky to share it with his beautiful cousin Hazel, she was blessed the exact same day, just in another state! Wish we could have been two places at once. The morning was crazy getting everything ready. He wizzed on his blanket and onesie about 15 minutes before church and I forgot socks so needless to say, Foster and I walked in about 12:57-- just in time:) The blessing was wonderful- at least what we heard of it, the microphone had issues. Brennen was so nervous and didn't want to do it in front of such a big crowd so I think he prayed to have a broken mic;) But he did great and I am so grateful he holds the priesthood and was able to bless our little guy. Foster was wide awake through the blessing and just laid there contently- thank goodness. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family- we had a crowd of supporters which was great! I was a horrible mom and didn't get the camera out til almost everyone had left;( He looked pretty handsome.

Hope Your Holidays were as GREAT as ours!!!
Just thought I would share a few pics of the holiday craze!!
Lots of family time and too many presents, we get spoiled every year!
Brennen bought me running shoes and clothes as a hint to get going on my post baby exercise program! So I having been trying:)
Foster got to meet lots of new friends and family this holiday season
Aunt Jill came all the way from Alaska just to meet the little guy
Here he is with his two favorite aunts!! Only because they are the only two he has met, I am sure Cortni would be on the top of the list if she would come home and meet him!!!
PS Fosters beanie is pretty sweet- he is already growing out of it
His first santa experience went well- as you can see he slept through the whole thing
I am sure next year will be a different story
Grandma Skid insisted he have his turn at the pinata this year as well- needless to say he did not break it open as he was sound asleep for this as well!!
Christmas morning- yes we are sleep deprived hence the look of just rolling out of bed!!
Foster and Grandpa were twins and it wasn't even planned!!
He was spoiled with presents and a cute new stocking
Cuddling with his great grandma on Christmas morning
We left the baby inside with some family and headed out to the Reese sledding hill for some fun!!
Yes, Brennen is not holding on and I am holding on for dear life- pretty much sums up our personalities!!
We sat Foster in front of all his presents for a picture- He was so content and sat there for 15 minutes without falling over. He is one tough little guy-pretty cute too!!
We had a great holiday season and we our so blessed to have such wonderful people around us.

3 Weeks and Counting
Man does time fly..... Foster is growing..... Christmas in 8 days away.... we finally got some snow... and we are just trying to enjoy this cute little boy before he's 12 and hates us. He sleeps pretty good once he gets there, but is a noisy sleeper, he is full of grunts, it wakes me up, I check on him and he is sound asleep.. Go figure.
Here are the results of his two week check-up
He had his blood drawn again- which he did not like- but all the tests were normal so as far as we know he is a healthy boy, already gaining weight and getting longer. Don't ask me how his height is in the 60th percentile- pretty sure that won't last long. He is staying awake a little more and he focuses much better.
Foster loves the Moby Wrap. If he is fussing I can just bundle him up in that next to me and he clams right down. Brennen has even put it on a few times, he will not appreciate these pictures but I thought it was cute..
Foster also loves getting in the tub. He loves the warm water, and loves getting his head washed with water and soap.
Brennen was pretty bummed to not be able to go to Boise to see the Aggies in the Potato Bowl. So we let him watch the whole thing uninterrupted on the big screen at my parents. Of course we had to dress up to show our support for the Aggies!!!
Foster got to meet two of his cousins this last weekend... Still 3 more to meet- hint hint!
Chance and Treysen were so cute with him and we snapped a few pics in the cute Christmas PJ's that Grandma Janice bought for all three of them. Foster wasn't so sure about the whole thing as his face demonstrates.
Last but not least, Foster had his first mistletoe experience at Grandma Beth's house. Pretty lucky to have it be from Whitli:) Ignore the weirdo in the back!!
